Dear Friend in Christ,

Can you imagine having to leave your home and country with only a few hours to pack and prepare, and being allowed to take only what you can carry in a bag or backpack? Not knowing when, or even if, you will be able to return home? This has been been the tragic reality for literally millions of Ukrainian citizens.

Refugees from Eastern Ukraine have poured into Western Ukraine since the outbreak of the Russian invasion in February. Huge numbers have come to Lviv where our Soup Kitchen feeds refugees and local needy alike. Our Miles Jesu Girls’ Home in Birky (near Lviv) continues to take in refugee mothers with their children. Our Miles Jesu-Birky Women’s Community continues to bring aid to refugee centers and hospitals by providing food, clothing, medicine, and comfort.

Millions have also been flooding into neighboring countries, especially Poland. Many of them bring only a few bags of most needed personal items. Left behind are their homes (many times destroyed) and their loved ones.

The homelessness and need have not let up, and more than ever Miles Jesu pleads your help to continue providing for these our suffering brothers and sisters. Our communities in both Ukraine and Poland are doing what they can to bring comfort in body and soul to as many refugees as possible. Please do what you can to enable us to continue this work of mercy.

Please help our Miles Jesu Missions today.
