RosaryThe Rosary is an especially powerful form of prayer directed toward our most Blessed Virgin Mary. Many miracles have been attributed to Mary’s intervention as a result of praying the Rosary. Our Lady herself asks us to pray the Rosary unceasingly for the conversion of sinners and the salvation of the world. Begin with the Sign of the Cross. Commonly, one says the Apostle’s Creed at the beginning of the Rosary; nevertheless it is not obligatory.

  1. Our Father. Said for the intentions of the Holy Father.
  2. Three Hail Marys. Said for an increase in Faith, Hope, Charity and Chastity.
  3. On the blank spaces between the beginning of each decade, recite the Glory Be. You may also recite the prayer received by the children at Fatima: “Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are in most need of thy Mercy.”
  4. On the remaining large beads, recite the Our Father and meditate upon one of the Mysteries of the Rosary.
  5. On the remaining small beads of each decade, recite the Hail Mary while meditating upon the Mystery of the Rosary for that decade.

Upon completion, recite the Hail Holy Queen.
