Dear Friend in Christ,
Lourdes, MJ, after working many years in the Miles Jesu Missions in Puerto Rico and India, will be completing her Bachelors Degree in Education this December at Northeastern Illinois University. Her Education degree comes with highly-valued endorsements in Bi-Lingual Education and Math/Science.
“I am studying to be an elementary school teacher,” says Lourdes, and am open to work in either a public or Catholic school. However, I am leaning more towards public school education because Christian values are so highly attacked nowadays. As a public school teacher, I would seek to promote good values without mentioning any particular religion because Christian values help everybody, no matter who they are or what they believe.”
Lourdes has gained widespread instructional experience through volunteer work at the highly-rated Calmeca dual-language school; at educational events at the Chicago Botanic Garden; and as a tutor at St. Thomas Canterbury School where the four students under Lourdes’ tutelage saw their math scores rise from 70-75% to 90-95% in a matter of weeks … a 100% success rate!
Your help is needed to support the Miles Jesu Education Fund for the consecrated members of Miles Jesu, towards their lay professions and formation in doctrine and the social teachings of the Church.
Your sacrifice of a large gift or a monthly pledge truly makes all the difference. In Miles Jesu we take all our benefactors seriously and pray for you and your loved ones in our daily Mass, holy hours and rosaries. This is our debt of gratitude because the Miles Jesu Education Fund depends upon the Providence of God through people like you. Please help our Miles Jesu Missions today.
