One of our MJ Vinculum members told us recently of a new way we can garner support for our Miles Jesu Missions: by shopping on AmazonSmile, a program from Amazon that turns your regular online shopping into a means of creating donations to your favorite charity. Instead of shopping on Amazon.com, go to smile.amazon.com and select Miles Jesu as your charity. AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know: same products, same prices, same service.
Every three months Amazon will deposit 0.5% of the total of all eligible purchases made on AmazonSmile into the registered bank account of each customer’s selected charity. With hardly anyone knowing about our participation in this program, Miles Jesu received a direct-deposit of $301.39 for the months January-March 2016. That means over $60,000 in customer purchases were made to produce this gift for the Miles Jesu Missions! Every bit helps, so we just wanted to get the word out to all of you Amazon shoppers out there – please tell your family and friends as well!
