For the last seven years, among other evangelization activities, Miles Jesu Lviv community with our volunteers has been organizing youth seminars in our Formation Center for Laymen in the city of Lviv, Ukraine. The seminars are aimed to help young people, mainly students and recent graduates to hear useful and interesting talks about Catholic Faith, participate in discussions and share their faith with others, to meet other young Christians and provide mutual support in our journey with God.
Usually about 60 young people from different parts of Ukraine come to this yearly event. We include talks and discussions on different subjects. The last year’s main theme was “The Eucharist”. We had talks about “Communion with Christ”, “Liturgy and life”, “Catholic Apologetics”, “Successful and real chastity”. As a follow up after the seminar, the young people also participate in other evangelization activities: Evening evangelization programs for adults and for the youth, pilgrimages, retreats that are organized in our Formation Center for Laymen. This year’s theme will be “Prayer”. So, we started preparations already. Please pray for good spiritual fruit for many young people.
