The Risen Jesus is the Holy Eucharist. His Incarnation and Resurrection continue in front of our eyes of Catholic faith. We can enjoy the mystery as both: a sacrifice offered to the Father and a Sacrament given to us.
As Sacrifice, Jesus offers Himself to the Father in perfect adoration, gratitude, reparation and petition. And, Jesus gives us the privilege of joining Him in this offering. We can finally adore and thank God in a divine way! It fits His infinite dignity and generosity.
As Sacrament, we receive the source of all goodness.
The Church teaches that all her activity finds its source in the Eucharist and is crowned by it.
Since the Eucharistic Christ looks like bread and wine, He teaches us humility, and to go beyond superficial, first impressions. Under the appearances of bread and wine, we find our Creator and Redeemer.
How to respond? Ask Our Lady: from God’s goodness, we become intimate with Him; from His greatness we grow to respect Him enough to do what He asks.
