Miles Jesu offers three types of retreats:

Miles Jesu Orientation Retreat

This weekend retreat offers participants a glimpse into the particular spirit and charism of Miles Jesu and how this spirit is lived out in the modern culture.  The retreatant will become more familiar with the history and development of lay consecration through the practice of the evangelical counsels, including the sanctification of work.  Additional topics include consecration to Mary, the importance of devotion to Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, and vocation discernment.  The weekend goes from Friday evening until Sunday morning.  Participants will have the opportunity to speak with Miles Jesu community members who live the consecrated life while working in the secular world.

Spiritual Retreat

This weekend retreat is for those whose plan is simply to get away for a few days in spiritual retreat, observing an atmosphere of silence.  The retreat can be guided—for example, with a short introduction to the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola.  Or you can receive a general orientation to Christian meditation and learn its role in the pathways of prayer and the interior life—“the science of the saints.” The format is flexible and depends on the needs of the person. Adoration, confession, liturgy, spiritual direction, prayer—all in one place. (This private retreat may not be arranged over a weekend due to activities at the center.)

Vocation Discernment Retreat

This weekend retreat focuses on the states of life of the faithful in the Church:  Consecrated Life (with an emphasis on the lay consecration), the priesthood and religious life, and marriage. Singles who have yet to commit themselves to a particular state in life, as expressed through their baptismal consecration, are introduced to Church teaching on the subject.

Spiritual advice, tools of discernment and encouragement help the participant in their journey as they look for the common signs of a vocation. Time is permitted for spiritual direction, Holy Mass and confession, and fellowship with Miles Jesu members.

All retreats are conducted in Phoenix, Arizona; Rome, Italy; Lviv, Ukraine;  Slovakia, India, or Nigeria.
