“The Birky Girls’ Home in Ukraine for orphaned or abandoned girls, located about 15 kilometers from L’Viv, is designed for the girls to live permanently until 18 years of age. In reality we let them stay until they are self-sufficient,” Olia, MJ tells us.

Please see our 2018 budget for our Birky Girls’ Home. Prices in Ukraine keep climbing, and it will cost over $77,000 to run the girls’ home this year. We depend entirely on donations of our dear benefactors to do this. God bless you all!

There are five adult Miles Jesu women and fifteen children at the community in Birky. Note that the ladies’ community also runs the L’Viv Soup Kitchen, which is not represented in this budget.
