Dear Friend in Christ,

“Greetings of peace and love from our Miles Jesu Apostolate dedicated to caring for children and widows”, writes Thomas Abonyi, MJ from the men’s community in Nigeria. “In the spirit of the Gospel and the call to serve “the least of these” (Matthew 25:40), our apostolate has been working tirelessly to improve their lives. We currently support sixteen children in primary school and five in secondary school. In addition, several widows benefit from our programs through food assistance, small empowerment projects, and spiritual support. However, we are facing a difficult reality. The cost of living in Nigeria has risen dramatically in recent months. Prices of food, school supplies, transportation, and basic necessities have skyrocketed. These economic challenges are making it increasingly difficult for our Apostolate to meet the needs of the children and widows who rely on us. Without additional help, we fear we may have to reduce the number of those we can support—a heartbreaking prospect for the lives we have been called to care for. But we believe in the power of community, compassion, and faith. We are reaching out to you, dear brothers and sisters, to ask for your support. Your financial donation—no matter how small—can make a life-changing difference. It can keep a child in school, put food on a widow’s table, and bring hope to those who have little else to lean on. Thank you for your generosity!”

Please help our Miles Jesu Missions today so we can continue our work in Nigeria with the Needy Women and Children’s Apostolate. Your help truly makes all the difference! In Miles Jesu we pray for our benefactors daily with gratitude because the Miles Jesu Missions depend upon God’s help through people like you.
