Dear Friend in Christ,

“Our van blew up!” Tom Creen, MJ, at our Bortniky Boys’ Home in Ukraine exclaims. “The day before yesterday the Bortniky Volkswagen van burned up. No one was hurt, thank God. Noel, a volunteer from Ireland, was driving it back from L’Viv together with one of the boys from the Boys’ Home, and it started to smell like smoke. He pulled over, opened the hood, and the thing started to burn, eventually growing into a very large fire on the side of the road. Noel and the boy just had to stand at a distance and watch it burn. He had tried to use the fire extinguisher earlier on, but to no avail.

“Now we are looking $21,800 to get another van so desperately needed for our Boys’ Home. David, our senior staff member, has raised the equivalent of $4,000 from his home town in England. This amount will cover transporting the new vehicle from Germany to Ukraine, plus registration, insurance, and other fees. Our 25 resident boys in our remote location are counting on your generous response to this special request.”

Please help our Miles Jesu Missions today, such as our Bortniky Boys’ Home in Ukraine. Your sacrifice of a monthly pledge or a one-time gift truly makes all the difference. In Miles Jesu we pray for our benefactors daily with gratitude because the Miles Jesu Missions depend upon God’s help through people like you.
